Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre
Set to open in September 2016 and officially launch in January 2017, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre will take up a small exhibition space on the main floor of Humber College´s Welcome Centre at the Lakeshore Campus. This new public space will interpret the campus´s natural and built heritage, and will be the first permanent place to tell the history of the Lakeshore grounds. The proposed Centre will engage Etobicoke and surrounding communities through exhibitions, arts programming, storytelling, and more. Themes will include mental health, aboriginal history, education, and the environment.
